Siemon releases new European product catalogue
Siemon, the network infrastructure specialist, has released a new product catalogue that entirely focuses on the needs and product requirements of the EMEA market (Europe, Middle East & Africa).
Designed specifically for EMEA distributors and installers, Siemon's global portfolio of structured cabling products has been refined to only show products relevant to the EMEA region, such as LS0H cable, country-specific faceplates, EMEA fibre cables. This new approach is designed to help distributors and installers select the right products for their local markets. Regional catalogues for Americas and Asia Pacific have also been published.
As with the previous edition, the new catalogue arranges products into their appropriate systems to simplify the process of selecting an end-to-end cabling infrastructure. It features Siemon's key product offerings including Category7A/Class FA TERA®, 10G 6AT F/UTP and UTP, the MapITT intelligent infrastructure management solution in copper and fibre, connectivity and cable management, System 6® and Premium 5e®.
In addition, the new catalogue now also features Siemon's complete fibre offering including 10Gb/s XGLO and 1Gb/s Lightsystem fibre optic cable, SC and LC connectors, jumpers, pigtails, enclosures.
For those designing or specifying a new system the catalogue gives example cabling designs with typical suggestions for TERA, F/UTP, Fibre and UTP. Details are also included highlighting the company's range of value added services and Certified Installer programme.
Explaining the need for this new catalogue, Graeme Stoker, Siemon's marketing manager for EMEA said, "We wanted to make it easier and quicker for our channel partners to quickly select appropriate products and swiftly put together a complete system. As a global supplier, we have a huge range of products to suit different markets around the world. This makes for plenty of choice but can create a daunting volume for buyers. We recognised the need to have different product catalogues to suit regional demands so systems can be composed that best suit local requirements.
